I am a Canadian citizen, native speaker of both English and French. Moreover I have studied Spanish for 5 years, and lived in Spain and South America for a total of over 2, therefore consider myself fluent. I have also worked in Italy in Packaging Industry Sales (from Italian towards French and English speaking markets) for almost three years and have a high level of understanding of Italian. Finally, I can understand a moderate level of German and Portuguese. I have a degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and have a high level of experience and understanding of technical terms.

I am proficient in using CAT tools, in particular Kilgray’s MemoQ 2015, but also SDL Trados Studio 2014, Wordfast Pro, Across, and other CAT software. I am also skilled in dealing with OCR, DTP and PDF documents. I can translate about 2500 words per day, depending on the complexity of the material.

I also do voiceover work. I have a high-definition studio voice microphone and am particularly well-suited for this task. Finally, I am also proficient in professional transcription, in any of my working languages.
